Core Values

Core Values:

Competence – a nurse continues to learn and experience new things which make him/her competent for every endeavor. It does not happen overtime, it means it is acquired through various learning like seminar or symposium or perhaps long years of learning the principles and eventually going out to clinical field and gaining experience in the local hospitals from starting with a simple procedure to complicated real life scenarios and elevating the nursing skill to practice globally.

Compassion – a nurse is compassionate because there is no other way to experience the patient’s life and suffering than to empathize with them or put ourselves within their situation and that is the best way to understand them and their will being.

Caring – a nurse exhibits a concern to how the patient feels physically most especially emotionally because a patient may not express well they feel and a nurse is in charge of how to care and understand to the total well – being of his/her patients.

Commitment to Quality Service – a nurse is committed to quality services because a client has their own expectation of how we deliver our care. They should be satisfied with how we treat them and we should always look forward to keeping the client safe at all times.

Responsive to Social Needs – a nurse is responsive to social needs because it will be one the key to achieve universal health care. They play a critical role in health promotion and disease prevention as well as reaching out to the barrios or community care and educating especially the poor communities in the society.

Value – Driven – we treat our patients with higher value because we take the privilege of serving them as a whole being. It means assessing them physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally and will keep our motivation to respect them and give them dignity from the various situations they are experiencing. We learn to value them not only as clients but also as a family member needing our care.
